nice hero, but ulti in late game useless, meditate is good at start , but the fact that hero cant move during this spell make it useless during an hard focus (can we use it during a tp ?). why not keep this ulti but allow movement during the spell ? a speedy medidate ^^'

Yop i kinda agree with you, plus its dispellable, so pretty week for an ulti. Yup i would like to be able to use while moving as well, but it isn't that easy to do. Maybe i'll make some sort of meta for it.

I'm happy with the 3 first abilities of the nether mage, just ulti needs some work on. Anyone have any ideas of what?

Meta is boring we got 2 meta each sides , dont do a 3rd meta , a good ulti would be maby a ulti who electrified the enemies for 15 or 20 secounds ?^^ But dont dont make meta , it not my favourite ^^

I think an ability called something along the lines of "Ward of Time" would be nice. It would be a placable ward that slows the movement speed of all nearby enemys, just like the naga tornado ulti. It would bring some balance to the extreme power of the naga ulti if it is given the same speed reduction per level as it, since, although it can be killed and is in a fixed position and doesnt break am, the nethermage is free to move and battle after he has casted it wheras the naga is out of action while the tornado is in effect.
This ability would also be very easy to make, simply take a plain ward model and give it the same 'Slow aura' that the naga tornado has depending on its level. Each additional level could increase the hitpoints of the ward and its time in effect. Speed reduction and aoe could be increased every 2 levels like the nagas tornado.
Just a thought to balance the naga a little.

I've replaced the ulti with volcano (thanks for the tip yugan) The problem is just how to balance it and how long heroes should be stunned.
Although it's kind of random who the volcano rocks hit, but they do some decent damage and stuns for a short amount of time.
Right now i have it on : 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0,9 and 1 second for the 6 levels it has.

They have it on X version and its fucking useless. Its too inacurate and the stupid bump in the map is just distracting. I think thats why they removed it form fl in the frist place. Its only good at stopping tps.

Nah i think they use a valcano which lasts quite long, this i just one with quite a bit of damage and short stun. Normally volcano would last like 30 seconds.

Well i just tried it and i can honestly say i'd rather have another shade ability that this shite. It has a cd of like 9 years and when you finally get to use it it does maybe 10% damage to most of the creeps and the 0.0001 second stun if just pointless. Even on level 6 i could only get like 2 creeps with it. On top of that, you have to aim it like a sniper rifle, its like the volcano is stoned it really takes sooo fucking long to shoot its rocks. It also froze me in place the first time i used it.

Seemed to work very well when i used it but oh well.
Finger of death does 590 damage on level 12, soulburn + ulti that does 500 damage and stun for 1 second.
To be honest for me that worked quite well. Mass damage and quite easy to kill.

You have to consider that when you have all this spell max level the damge isn't so high against high hp and armor enemies. And true, the volcano delay makes it useless for doing an easy kill

Armor doesn't really make any difference against spells. Just normal hits.

as far as i ve played nether mage with new ulti one time with pick --') , i prefer volcano ^^' ; mass little stun (break tp , slow ennemies) and some dmge better than no stun , no dmge and a shitty "static" heal ^^' . change mb something in duration of stun or cd but , its the good way for fix nether mage ulti.

Yesterday i talk to you to abput the nether mage cain . Dunno if i understand what JP said , but i like the idea if the nether mage get a ulti like the Naga o.O that would be cool . His first 3 skills are very nice yeah , but i dont see his ulti as an Ulti . Something is wrong its just cool to Break a TP. And the most of the player who use the Ulti , failed all the time cuz the enemies run away.
So mb we can work with the idea to make a ulti like naga or something.

I wouldnt add an ulti like nagas on the horde side. They already have sh ulti. And after an aoe stun of tc/cl the ulti can be very useful.
