Very good hero, one of the best intelligence heroes (probably only second to the lich/kubrik).

Forked lighnting is fine how it is, the cooldown and damage are balanced.
shield skill is very tough, but I don't think it's imbalanced since she has lower health and amour.
Ultimate is ok, is usefull for stopping spells or teleports. Could maybee do more damage to buildings with higher lvls?

The only naga's skill I don't know much about is frost arrows. Does this skill slow heroes more than the frost orb does? It adds damage to each attack similar to the PotM's fire arrows, but are higher lvl arrows better than the frost orb? I might test it out, could be very useful, (also the frost arrow projectile looks better than the frost orb's one, so that's a benefit Wink )

Ok, I just did a quick test in single player.

Frost orbs stats:
45% movement speed reduction
25% attack speed reduction.
duration: 3s on units, 1s on heroes.

Frost arrow stats (lvl10):
40% movement speed reduction
55% attack speed reduction
+30 damge added
duration: didn't count the seconds, but lasts much longer than the orb.

So the frost arrows only have a slightly weaker effect on movement speed (5%), but more than makes up for it with it's other attributes. I may start to use this skill with naga in the future.

y, but decreased ice orb slow from 45% to 40% in upcomin vers.

to the duration of frost arrows:
1.55sec lvl1 mana-cost: 6 (potm arrows mana cost: 6)
1.60sec lvl2 mana-cost: 8 (potm arrows mana cost: 7)
....
2sec lvl10 mana-cost: 24 (potm arrows mana cost: 15)

i think the mana-costs are too high or?
i mean 10shots and 240mana gone on lvl10 ....

die in one second in early mid game but u are invu in late...there is just no balance for mana shield, there have to be something different.

How about this: level 1 - shield that absorbs 200 dmg with 30 sec cd and 200 mana cost - level 10 - shield that absorbs 2000 dmg with 90 sec cd and 1000 mana cost.

Naga will be harder to kill in mid/short game but not invincible at the end.

hmm sounds good, but how would this be possible to make it as a spell? desperate

would be easy if the 2000dmg would be done with 1hit (could use hardend skin with cd).....but obvoisly thats not possible so the 2000dmg is over time

still damn op biggrin
played some guys vs naga/with naga lst days and i have to say WTF
a)tornado cd is just a joke Very Happy(too low on each lvl)
b)lighting dmg, hmm bit how but ok all in all if u see all other waves/lightnings
c)manashiled -> woot ? imba tank in lategame, cant die anyway if u have 1-2mates who can play a bit(y a bit is enough this time^^) -> but rly hard to fix it, cuz if u take too high manacosts its useless and if u take too less dmg absorb its sucks also....and ideas ?

I fing her rather easy to play, but not that interesting.
Hero/creep ender with lightning, ranger, with mana shield (+sobi (+ring)) can stay upfront very long time -> easy to get exp.
I rated her ++ because of the not-that-interesting part.

y, cd of torando is very low...
so i increased it to lvl1 200sec (before 150)... lvl6 150sec (before 120sec)

about mana-shield: dont know how to fix it desperate

well if theres really no idea, i can post a strange one:
change main attribute from int to agi (or str, but str fits least to naga queen)

this would prevent too powerful manashields (much less manapoints that protect hp).
anyway this might cause some necessity to adjust absorption rates, as it now stacks with the armor of an agi hero. i can imagine an evil sister of potm with ice arrows.... affraid

I thought about it, just a rough idea for it, a trigger depending on her lvl (I don't even know if it's possible to trigger Very Happy)

DMG per manareduction of hp dmg example of reduction on the lvl you can skill it
0.5 100% - lvl * 0.5 99.5%
1 99% - lvl * 0.6
1.5 98% - lvl * 0.7 95.5%
2 97% - lvl * 0.8
2.5 96% - lvl * 0.9
3 95% - lvl * 1.0 84.0%
3.5 94% - lvl * 1.1
4 93% - lvl * 1.2 73.5%
4.5 92% - lvl * 1.3
5 91% - lvl * 1.4 62.5%

this fall of the reduction has to be stopped at maybe 60%/50%.

This would result in the following situation:
low levels can't be used for tanking, but still reduce almost all hp dmg and can be used to save yourself for a short time
higher levels will absorb way more dmg, as they do now, but the absorption would lower

Conclusion:
-low levels drain your mana too fast ---> forces you to skill it some more to make it a good spell (just like every other should be like)
-all levels, but especially high levels become weaker, with a reduction of 50% naga can "only" double up her hp, which is still quite good imo when she has like 2000 or 3000 hitpoints


(you might ask: "why all these % calculating stuff, why not just make lvl 10 50%?!"
answer: "because this system makes her reduction drop to 50% on level 30 @ max skill points and lowers reduction on low levels a little")

Got a good idea or a see a fail in mine? post it, because naga is damn imba Very Happy

what about a time-limited mana-shield??
so the naga cant run non-stop with mana-shield activated and you`ll have a higher chance to silence her before she activates the shield..

only dont know how long it should be
pala-shield: lvl1 7.5sec ... lvl5 17.5sec ... lvl10 30sec
axemaster AM-shield: lvl1 13sec ... lvl5 25sec ... lvl10 40sec
imo should be lvl10 40-50sec duration and about 70sec cd (dont know how much on lower lvls)

naga is just imbalanced....u can hardly kill her with even 3 or 4 guys or stun if the player is just a little bit skilled....even a total bob can play her..

to my mind it should stay like that because ally is weaker and to weaken naga would imba this more, naga isnt that high damage dealer and you shouldnt focus her in late game when she has full mana, just wait untill she lost some mana by creeping or simply in fight. only problem if there are naga thinker mk batman and pala on ally side biggrin then gl^^
