Rate the Kubrik's Warden / Bloodelf Mage


if u want to comment on this hero do it in the thread of the human kubrik's warden pls!

I will probably change so that kubrik can also be healed by death coil. All other demons on the horde side can be healed so it would make sense to make kubi heal able also.

It is fair to be like pala with Jaina, good idea

hm this further increases the value of dk, i think this hero is good enough atm.
maybe turn kubriks model to the original one you had before jaina and that horde demon. then it does not neet to be healable by dk
anyway, imagine dk & kubrik on one lane, thats the ultimate healing combo with 3 healing spells. you really want that? its already annoying if u have pala/druid combo... (as ur enemy)

it would be another step towards making both sides equal, therefore i dont like it.

kubrik's warden was an ranged agi hero with heal wave, fire bolt (5 sec on first lvl or so), dmg aura and stampede that u could only get with random, back in the 1.71-ish version. it's named by a person that made the map at that time, kubrik (stempibot's rl friend) who got premission from the original maker of the map to edit it (i think its mr heatseek or sth like that, dont remember and not rly sure). due to balance issues, it got nerfed, got it's skills tweaked, skin changed and is now what u see as jaina and prime matron.

Yep, I remember that hero. It was luck to get Kubrik's warden.

I think that Kubrik (or Kubibot) was the origional mapper and i think he was once in clan OvH. He gave permission to the new clan that Stempi was in (OMsG) to edit it, but clan OvH didn't like the changes that scooby(ace) and omnipotent made so OvH_MRHEATSEEK (also a skilled mapper) made his own all random version which was also quite popular for some time. Eventually because OMsG kept balancing the map and OvH's map stayed very unbalanced, their version died out and our became what you see today. OvH were a very very skilled clan so its a shame that most of them refused to move to our version when theirs stopped. There are still a few ex-OvH players playing the map but all of the top players in their clan have moved on to other stuff.

y i mean that model.
what i do NOT mean is to change it back to agi but only the optical model. so its not undead-ish anymore, so it does not neccessarily need to be healable by the deathknight.

Don't really see the big problem that kubi is healable with coil, it doesn't really change much. Kubi is still a sort of weak hero and also makes the pala able to damage her.. both + and -.
